“Communication resigns supreme in today’s world, and IRANPLAST provides the best opportunity to establish fast and effective communications with global competitors. This exhibition, is the best place for the downstream industries to choose the optimum technology they need, i.e. they can travel a long way in a short time,” Mousavi Tarshizi said in an interview with the news committee of the 9th IRANPLAST exhibition.
He pointed out the problems existing between sellers and buyers and said: “the middlemen in the stock market affect the balance between offer and demand, and reduce the profit margin for both seller and buyer. These people, forming negative points in a dynamic economy, earn a fortune easily. Therefore, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade should omit the middlemen from stock market by adopting a suitable approach.”
He expressed his regret for the way the petrochemical companies were privatized and said: “Unfortunately, the petrochemical industry has lost its major impact on the country’s economy after privatizing. Although a considerable amount of the petrochemical products are being exported now, we play no role in the global petrochemical economy due to the lack of intensive management.”
“The scattered presence of the upstream and downstream industries in the national and international exhibitions is another drawback of our petrochemical industry. There is usually uniformity among the companies from other countries which shows their suitable arrangement and uniform management. Unfortunately, we do not follow these standards,” he added.
