Managing Director of Ghadir Petrochemical Company: IRANPLAST can showcase the Iran’s real production capability

Saeed Taheri, the managing director of Ghadir Petrochemical Company believes that the level of PVC production in Iran will make the producers to invest on its value chain. “The production of PVC in Iran will soon reach a level that makes us plan for expanding PVC export or increase its use in the country. The latter, which is accompanied with job creation and production of a more value added, is certainly more beneficial for our country.”
Taheri describes the IRANPLAST exhibition as the plastics and petrochemical industry spring and believes that the actual capacity of this event is still not discovered.
“This exhibition provides a good opportunity for producers and suppliers to collaborate, and this subject should be managed in the form of sessions and workshops,” he said. “We should not underestimate the effect of correct introduction of a company. Many companies benefit from the exhibition by increasing their brand value, and have long term planning for their introduction, while there are some other companies that remain unknown in spite of their technical and professional abilities. In my opinion IRANPLAST can showcase the Iran’s real production capability.”
Taheri says that a specialized exhibition should be held on the basis of producing opportunities to discuss common problems among industry experts, and he suggests that the organizers of this year’s exhibition plan for such sessions more seriously.
Ghadir Petrochemical Company is a famous producer of different grades of PVC. In addition to its activities in the domestic market, this company has exports to different countries such as India, Pakistan, Turkey, and Emirate. Ghadir Petrochemical Company currently produces over 120 thousand metric tons of PVC in three grades.
