These approvals were awarded after the completion of independent testing that was conducted by PTI-Europe and Plastics Forming Enterprises (PFE). The testing procedure followed an adapted version of the Recyclability Evaluation Protocol for PET bottles. The Eastman copolyesters that received the approval and are fully compatible with Europe\u2019s\u00a0recycling\u00a0processes for PET bottles are:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Cristal EN076.<\/li>\n<li>Cristal One.<\/li>\n<li>Cristal One Pro.<\/li>\n<li>Cristal One IM812.<\/li>\n<li>Cristal One E.<\/li>\n<li>Cristal One E Lux.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Additionally, the Cristal EN067 and Cristal EN059 resins were deemed to have limited compatibility.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The modified copolyesters don\u2019t interfere with established recycling processes, making them ideal for non-beverage packaging applications like skincare packaging, bottles, caps, and colour cosmetics.
