{"id":123446,"date":"2025-11-02T13:58:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T10:28:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polymervapooshesh.ir\/?p=123446"},"modified":"2025-11-02T20:38:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T17:08:23","slug":"sidel-unveils-square-pet-bottle-for-still-water-with-liquid-nitrogen-dosing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/polymervapooshesh.ir\/en\/sidel-unveils-square-pet-bottle-for-still-water-with-liquid-nitrogen-dosing\/","title":{"rendered":"Sidel unveils square PET bottle for still water with liquid nitrogen dosing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><em>Iranpolymer\/Baspar\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Packaging machinery supplier Sidel has introduced Nitro Square, a square-shaped PET bottle for still water with liquid nitrogen dosing.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The design combines rigid features with more flexible, pressure-absorbing surfaces to maintain the bottle\u2019s square profile while allowing for new designs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The bottle incorporates Sidel\u2019s wave-shaped StarLITE-R Nitro base, which enhances stability and drop resistance.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Nitro Square is offered in single and multi-serve formats and can be easily customised to different brand positioning, from premium to mainstream and affordable tiers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The bottle can be produced on Sidel\u2019s existing equipment lines \u2014 Universal, Series 2 and EvoBLOW \u2014 at up to 2,600 bottles per hour per mould.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sidel packaging innovation polymer expert Xavier Monnier stated: \u201cThe nitrogen-dosed water bottle market is largely dominated by cylindrical forms, as this is the natural shape created by the internal pressure of the bottle\u2019s contents.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cNitro Square allows manufacturers to elevate their brands with a unique square design that stands out on the shelf, secures its shape and performance across the supply chain and is valid for rPET.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The latest announcement follows recent Sidel projects and expansions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In Catania, Sicily, Sibeg \u2014 the Coca-Cola Company\u2019s authorised bottler in the region \u2014 \u00a0has commissioned its first aseptic\u00a0PET bottling line incorporating Sidel equipment. The new line, with an 18,000 bottles per hour capacity, features Sidel\u2019s Aseptic Combi Predis, EvoFilm Stretch and PalKombi systems.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sidel has also\u00a0opened an office\u00a0in Lagos, Nigeria to support its West African operations and sustainable packaging initiatives.
