{"id":135158,"date":"2026-09-26T14:20:34","date_gmt":"2026-09-26T10:50:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polymervapooshesh.ir\/?p=135158"},"modified":"2026-09-26T14:20:34","modified_gmt":"2026-09-26T10:50:34","slug":"bayer-launches-recyclable-mono-pp-talcid-blister-in-germany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/polymervapooshesh.ir\/en\/bayer-launches-recyclable-mono-pp-talcid-blister-in-germany\/","title":{"rendered":"Bayer launches recyclable mono-PP Talcid blister in Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><em>Iranpolymer\/Baspar <\/em><\/strong>Bayer has introduced a polypropylene-only blister pack for Talcid in Germany after first bringing the format to Slovenia in late 2025.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The revised pack replaces a multi-layer structure with a single-material polypropylene design.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The format is intended to support recycling in countries where collection, sorting and recycling infrastructure is in place, while keeping the product\u2019s quality, safety and user experience unchanged.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Talcid is an antacid product used for heartburn and other acid-related symptoms.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bayer plans to extend the new blister format to 11 more European markets during 2026 and 2027.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Talcid pack is made entirely from polypropylene, creating a mono-material format that still meets product protection and quality standards for consumer health products.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the company, the pack has received RecyClass Design for Recycling certification, with a Recyclability Class A rating and a recyclable plastic content score of 98.86%.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Talcid launch follows Bayer\u2019s wider work on mono-material blister packaging.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In 2024, the company introduced a PVC-free polyethylene terephthalate (PET) single-material blister for Aleve in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bayer said the Talcid polypropylene blister forms part of its wider Consumer Health packaging plans.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bayer vice president Chris Padain said: \u201cThe promise of this mono-material polypropylene design is that it can improve compatibility with recycling processes where appropriate systems exist, while continuing to provide a strong consumer experience.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIts push-through performance supports intuitive use, while the mono-material structure simplifies the packaging design.
