The blade is 37.5 metres long, weighs about 6 t and was made using the company&rsquo;s new 2-K PU resin system with glass fabric from&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">Chongqing Polycomp International<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">. It was processed using a PU online infusion machine from process engineering specialist&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">H&uuml;bers<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">Shanghai FRP Research Institute<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">.<\/span><br style=\"color: 00;\" \/><br \/>\n<br style=\"color: 00;\" \/><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: 00;\">Compared with conventional epoxy resin, the newly-developed 2-K PU resin system has excellent mechanical properties and less VOCs, says Covestro, which was formerly known as&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">Bayer MaterialScience<\/span><span style=\"color: 00;\">.
