There is still a transition period until mid-2023, but a number of plastics recyclers and processors have to adapt to the new requirements now.\u00a0A guide jointly created by the GKV (Berlin), the BDE (Berlin) and the bvse (Bonn) is intended to provide support, which the industry service Kunststoff Information (Homburg) has now made available for download.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The new Regulation (EU) 2022\/1616, which replaces Directive 282\/2008, defines, among other things, the rules for recycling processes that have been evaluated by the European Food Safety Authority (Italy).
