ChinaPlas 2017: Activities in overseas market is a must
According to Baspar interview, Moayed, managing director of Abhar Company (producer of polymeric compounds) and member of the Iran's compound and masterbatch association, explained more about Abhar's attendance in Chinaplas 2017 exhibition.
Iran has a lot of petroleum and gas resources. In these years, Iran has experimented considerable improvement in production of different polymers especially Polyolefines (PE, PP), Moayed said. According to high production capacity of Polyethylene in Iran, it is a suitable situation to improve capacity of compound production. In this way (increasing the capacity of compound production), both to eliminate the internal necessity and to enter to the export markets are considerable for compound production companies. According to this potential, Abhar Company has started its activities in production of different polymeric compounds field. Now, what is important is the active capacity of compound production in Iran. Last year only 35% of the whole capacity was active. According to this statistic, the amount of compound production is about one million tons although 350000 tons were used in Iran's markets last year. That's clear, if companies want to work with full capacity, only strategy is to pay attention to the export markets. This limitation make complex situation for compound producers. Although exports to the Turkey and Iraq markets were observed a few years ago, it is possible to improve the export market capacities. Now, attendance in Chinaplas exhibition can help to improvement of this field.
Another important point is technical and economical subjects. Entrance to the international market is related to quality and cost of the products. These parameters are the keys of competition.
Companies have produced high quality products also they usually have had a considerable demand in Iran's market.
The most important product of the Abhar Company is PEX compounds that are used in production of cable and pipe coating.
Abhar's target is not only China market but also other country markets for export.
This company has different programs which informs participants about its products.
Last year, Abhar's strategists codified their programs for 2017 (especially about exhibition attendance programs). According to these strategies, Abhar Company will attend in Turkey plastic exhibition, Azerbaijan plastic exhibition, Moscow plastic exhibition and Uzbekistan Petroleum, oil and gas exhibition. By this strategy, we can improve our markets and possibility of the export, Moayed said.
